Our History

 

Established in Vancouver in 1985 by Mr. Myron Donner, Advanced Parking has since grown to over 200 employees, 90 locations, and 19,000 parking spaces across its portfolio. Advanced now has operations in Vancouver, Whistler, and Calgary and manages all types of parking facilities, including monthly, attended, metered, and valet operations.

 

Advanced Parking was acquired by Impark in 1996 with the understanding that it would continue to operate independently. This arrangement was designed to preserve the unique aspects of Advanced’s management style: a combination of low overhead and high-quality service made possible by limiting the number of clients and paying careful attention to detail.
